Description
Rump steaks are always popular, and a less expensive cut than other types of steak.
They have a deep flavour, but can become tough when cooked - cook quickly and leave to rest afterwards to avoid this.
This is the cut from the whole rump, and includes the Rump-cap muscle as well as the centre piece.
Our Rump steaks are from our Grass-Fed Australian cattle, raised on huge ranches in Queensland, and subject to strict welfare controls.
They are completely freerange, and are put through a strict grading procedure, and that is reflected in the flavour of the beef.
