Description
One of France's finest and oldest cheeses, this strong, distinctive semi-hard blue cheese has a crumbly texture and an unusual sweet, smoky and salty taste.
Roquefort is made in Southern France from unpasteurised sheeps’ milk, and is matured in caves for around 3 months.
This complex, versatile cheese can be crumbled over salads, pasta or pizza or used in salad dressings, as well as enjoyed on the cheese board.
Each half Roquefort comes wrapped in foil and weighs approximately 1.4kg
