Wagyu beef is taken from the famous black Japanese breeds of cattle which produce Kobe beef if they are born, reared and processed in the Kobe region of Japan.
We work with Oakleigh Ranch in Eastern Australia - undoubtedly one of the most renowned producers of Wagyu in the world, and supplier to many leading gourmet food retailers including Lobels of New York and Fischer Paradies in Berlin.
Oakleigh Ranch’s fullblood Wagyu cattle are naturally raised on open ranges, and are free of artificial additives, growth hormones, steroids or antibiotics. This makes them completely natural.

Wagyu beef is graded by the amount of marbling that runs through it, on a scale of 1 to 9.
The higher the marbling, the higher the grade and therefore the quality of the beef.
