Fresh, apple-fed free-range cockerel

Sorry - this product is no longer available

Cockerel is a fuller-tasting meat than standard chicken, and ours are free-range and fed a completely natural diet of wheat, maize and whole oats, supplemented with locally-grown apples.

Grown to full maturity of 70-80 days which is twice as long as standard commercial chickens.

This gives them a longer and happier life of freedom out in the fields and this is reflected in the amazing eating quality of the bird.

The end product is simply incredible in taste and texture, quite unlike any other.

Supplied by Adlington in Warwickshire, who also produce our Label Anglais chickens and Three-Bird Roasts.

Each cockerel weighs a minimum 3kg, and will feed 6 people generously.
