Goat is an often overlooked meat in the UK, and is much more popular in Africa and the Middle East.

It is darker than lamb, but not as sweet, and has a stronger flavour.

Goat is lower in fat and cholesterol than lamb, and also has more protein. Because it's leaner, goat meat can dry out during cooking so is best cooked slowly.

Our diced goat is taken from shoulder, breast and loin, and is presented on the bone. This is the traditional cut to use in a stew, and it should be cooked until the meat begins to fall away from the bone.

Our goat is free-range and is from Spain, where it is reared free-range on a family run farm using traditional farming methods.

Each pack contains 1kg diced goat meat, and will feed 3-4 adults.
